Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Mr Sanku Comedy, has passed away.
He was involved in a ghastly car accident along the Oyo-Ogbomoso road in Ibadan in the early hours of Monday.
The content creator, who was riding in the car alongside his friend, was pronounced dead a few hours after he was rushed to the hospital.
Confirming the incident on her Instagram page, Nollywood actress, Funmi Awelewa recalled sending one of her students to Bowen Hospital to check on him.
She, however, added that despite her prayers, Sanku eventually passed on.

Skit maker, Ozain took to his Instagram story and wrote, “Rest well, soldier.”Shortly after, popular social media influencer, Jidex also took to TikTok to speak on his death with the caption, “Rest in peace.”
Sanku began his comedy career in 2021 and shot to prominence three years later after his style and originality won him over one million followers on TikTok.
Since news of his death made the rounds, fans, influencers, and fellow entertainers trooped to various social media platforms to pay tributes to the late comedian.
