Osun Police Declare Three Wanted Over Alleged Homosexuality (LGBT) Seminar
Osogbo, Nigeria – The Osun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has issued a public notice regarding a group accused of promoting homosexuality (LGBT) at a venue in Osogbo.
According to the police, the group came under scrutiny following a tip-off from residents of Isale Osun, who reported suspicious gatherings at the location. Following an investigation, on January 9, 2025, law enforcement officers arrested eight individuals, including John Omolangidi, who allegedly identified the organizers as Segun Alani, Ojo Jegede, and “Taiwo Ayinde” — who are currently at large.
The police have now declared these three individuals wanted and are urging the public to provide any information that could lead to their arrest. Anyone with relevant details is advised to report to the nearest police station or the Zone 11 Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force along Gbongan-Ibadan Road, Osogbo.
